Good questions

A little more perspective.

Straight answers about Sofron, how we’re building it, and what happens when you join the waitlist.

What is Sofron?

Sofron is an iPhone app in development that brings your financial picture and money learning together. See your cashflow, balances and upcoming charges, then explore short lessons based on everyday spending. Our mission is financial sovereignty for everyone.

Can I use Sofron yet?

Not quite. We’re building for iPhone first, starting with the US and USD. Join the free waitlist and we’ll email you when it’s ready. The previews here show the product design with illustrative numbers.

Will Sofron move my money?

No. Sofron is being built around read-only connections. It won’t hold your money, make payments or execute trades. It isn’t a bank or a financial advisor, and it won’t give buy or sell tips.

Do I have to connect a bank account?

Sofron is being built around read-only account connections, so your financial picture can come together without logging every transaction. A manual-entry option is also planned for people who prefer it.

What happens when I join the waitlist?

Just leave your email. We’ll save it so we can tell you when Sofron is ready. No password, no payment and no unrelated marketing. You can leave the list whenever you like.

How is this different from a budgeting app?

Sofron connects the picture with the understanding. You’ll see how your money fits together and learn through short, familiar examples, from a subscription’s yearly cost to the difference between cashflow and a cash balance.

Can I set my own budgets and savings goals?

Yes. Sofron is being designed with monthly limits for the categories you choose, and purchase goals with an adjustable savings pace. These are plans: money stays at your bank. You can protect existing savings and regular contributions while planning for something specific.

Can I use Sofron as a budget planner without connecting my bank?

Read-only account connections are the main way Sofron is being designed to bring your money into view. A manual-entry option is also planned if you prefer not to connect. Sofron is in development; join the waitlist for launch updates.

How will Sofron help me save for a specific purchase?

Give your savings goal a name and price, enter what you have already set aside, and choose a monthly contribution. Sofron estimates how many contributions are needed while keeping protected savings separate. The plan does not move money or guarantee a completion date.

What can I learn about personal finance in Sofron?

Short financial education lessons use everyday examples such as subscription costs, monthly cashflow and an emergency buffer. The aim is to help you understand your own money and make your own decisions, without investment tips or pressure.

Will Sofron be on Android?

We’re focusing on iPhone first. We don’t have an Android launch date to share.

How much will it cost?

Joining the waitlist is free. We’ll share the app’s plans and pricing before launch, so you can decide with the full picture.

What do you do with my email?

We store your email and the time you joined, to send the launch notification you requested. We also use Cloudflare to help prevent automated and temporary-email signups. See our privacy page for more details.
